Policies
All appointments require a $50 deposit to confirm the date and time of your appointment. You may also pay the full amount of a standard house call for $137.50 when booking the appointment. Please pay attention to the date and time you are scheduling as appointments are being scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance. If your pet’s medical issue requires more urgent attention than the schedule can accommodate, please proceed to Urgent Care, and DO NOT schedule a future appointment expecting an earlier date to become available. 4Paws does NOT keep a running cancellation list.

Paying the deposit and agreeing to these policies allows 4Paws to charge the remainder of visit charges to the same credit card, after the visit is completed and all charges have been accumulated. Credit card information remains stored within Stripe solely for the purpose of billing for services rendered and for products to be delivered at a future date. 4Paws provides no subscription-based services at this time. No third party, other than Stripe, has access to your credit card information. The information will remain on file until the expiration date of the credit card.

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled within a reasonable time frame prior to an appointment. 4Paws, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to charge a $50 fee if an appointment is cancelled within 48 hours, or rescheduled greater than two times without direct communication with 4Paws. If an appointment is cancelled by mutual agreement, before the 48-hour period prior to the appointment, the full amount of the deposit may be carried forward for 180 days from original booking date, or a refund may be issued minus a 10% credit card processing fee with a minimum charge of $10.

We attempt to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time. However, at some times of the day and with short notice, 4Paws may need to modify or reschedule appointment times to accommodate traffic patterns in the area. We will make every reasonable attempt to contact you, and to personally modify the appointment time. Please enter your contact information carefully into the appointment calendar. If necessary, you will be contacted by text, email, and/or a phone call.

4Paws, at its sole discretion, may charge a $25 fee for advising clients about medical conditions, reviewing and approving any medication ordered from or called into any third-party pharmacy. We make every attempt to provide prescribed medications at competitive prices to avoid this time-consuming process of having to deal with third party pharmacies. We prefer that you order through 1800PetMeds.com. They have the best customer service of all online pharmacies, and facilitate approvals through their online email portal for veterinarians.

We bill for the process of filling out insurance forms and for speaking with insurance companies or pet pharmacies at a rate of $250 per hour with a minimum fee of $25. If you have pet insurance, please tell us at time of service, and you will be provided with the information to be submitted to your insurance carrier.

4Paws, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse service to any client. We make every attempt to communicate a treatment plan that is best for the client and patient, but sometimes unavoidable conflicts arise. From time to time and at any time, additional policies may be added and these policies may be modified.
